WM Media Centre Schladming

At the end of 2009, the Linz architect company RIEPL RIEPL won a closed tender as part of an implementation design competition for the Media Centre for the Alpine Ski World Championships in Schladming. This was primarily concerned with the construction of a conference centre that would temporarily start as the Media Centre for the Alpine Ski World Championships in 2013.
Covering roughly 4,600 m² and including an underground car park for 100 cars, construction costs will be close to € 13,0 M.
Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH is responsible for the structural engineering, business management and both the tender process and the tender evaluation.
Construction began in August 2010 and is due to be completed at the end of 2011.
