Start of construction work at LKH Weststeiermark

Next Tuesday the reconstruction of the LKH location Deutschlandsberg will start. Plans call for the construction of a new palliative care unit on the roof of the C wing.

The LKH Deutschlandsberg was opened in the mid-1980s. It consists of an operating wing with 3 operating theaters and an adjacent ICU ward, an outpatient area with shock room and CT scan, and a total of 6 nursing stations. The addition is realized in lightweight construction using steel frames and KLH elements. Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH is responsible for the structural design in this project and, together with the architects from Innocad, for the structural engineering.
