Since the Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH actively promotes innovations in all areas, almost all of the senior employees met last Friday for a management team workshop with our external management consultant. A format that took place for the second time this year and has already paid off in everyday working life.

At the beginning of September, the extension and conversion of the A building in the LKH Graz Süd was completed. Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH had been responsible for on-site construction supervision since 2014 and was able to successfully hand over the project to the users.

“We love and live BIM” – that is not only on the agenda of Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH, but was also the motto of this year’s BIM symposium of the Artaker company in Vienna. DI Jürgen Kraker gave a lecture on the subject of BIM planning in practice together with other planning partners from the current IKEA Vienna 3 project.

An accommodation facility with 24 residential units, a veterinary practice and an underground car park for 17 parking spaces is currently being built in Grabenstrasse. Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH is responsible for the general planning of this exciting construction project in the execution phase.

In the current issue of the magazine Beton- und Stahlbetonbau, a technical article written by Thomas Lorenz and Jürgen Kraker about all the innovations in Version 8 of ConDim was published.

In the past few weeks, a lot has happened on our in-house construction site. The skylight is inside, the roof is tight and the crane has been dismantled.
