LKH Graz – New Dental Clinic

For the University Dental School, a new construction was built in two phases on the area just to the east of the existing LKH University Clinic in Graz. The first stage incorporates all point-of-care services, with the second stage establishing the non-patient centred functions including teaching and research. Tram line 7 stops right at the front door. The tracks had to be decoupled so the vibrations of the tram did not reach the clinic. The supports also had to be designed so that they could withstand a collision with a derailed tram.
