Hospital Oberwart

In order to be able to guarantee excellent medical, nursing and therapeutic care at the Oberwart site in the future as well as to be prepared for future developments, the Province of Burgenland has decided to construct a new building. The project, with construction costs of around 128 million euros (price basis 2014), comprises a usable area of 26,100 m², which is divided into the areas of examination and treatment, care, teaching and event centres, supply and disposal as well as administration. The contract of ARGE Lorenz – Moser includes the trades local construction supervision – construction (ÖBA-Bau), local construction supervision – building services (ÖBA-TGA), local construction supervision – medical technology (ÖBA-Medizintechnik), coordination of construction (BauKG) and the relocation planning. The specialized ÖBA’s were subcontracted out.
